from other POP3 or IMAP servers and deliver to a users mailbox
Defensive Features
- Built-in Stateful Inspection Firewall - Prevents connections
to all but chosen services (e.g. smtp, pop3 & imap)
- Stealth Mode - Can be configured not to respond to
standard or TCP pings, thus evading detection by many port scanners
- Port Scan Detector - Will detect port scans and completely
block the attacker from connecting to the server in any way
- Intrusion Detection - Both network and host based Intrusion
detection (IDS) is built into the server. This will log all break-ins
attempts
- Log Checker - A log checker will run at regular intervals
and send email alerts regarding important events such as break-in
attempts and other unusual events
